Swiffer needs new Quality Control Team

Swiffer, you need a new Quality Control Team. I’ve been using Swiffer products for more than 20 years. Had my first Wet Jet Mop for 10+ years. Just bought a new Wet Jet and I am very disappointed. Mop pole/handle is not as sturdy as the original. Sprayer system/tubing has persistent clogging issues. Battery pack/power is not as powerful. I would be willing to pay a little more for a better product if the cost of production has been rapidly increasing. Like I stated, had my first Wet Jet for over 10 years, so I consider the initial purchase a bargain. Swiffer, please consider the recent poor reviews of your products and go back to the drawing board because your current line of products are NOTHING like the quality your customers have been used to. After 20+ years of using Swiffer to clean my home, I’m switching brands.

Doesn’t last

Bummed that apparently the tubes get clogged after a while and won’t spray properly, if at all. Not sure if I should bother getting a replacement… actually don’t want to but I have so much cleaning solution & pads, which I don’t want to waste🙆🏼‍♀️

If you haven't already, we suggest replacing the batteries with fresh AA ones and making sure the solution bottle isn't empty and is fully inserted. Not worth the money

Mop stops spraying after a month or 2. Bought a new 1, after a month same thing. Will not last past 2 months. Replaced batteries, tried cleaning sprayers, nothing works.

Better instructions PLEASE!

It's pretty sad when a product requires searching for and viewing YouTube videos to figure out assembly and use. That's why I give this only a 3-star rating. From what I've seen on its cleaning value I will probably rate higher once I've used it a few times. Here's what I had to watch a video for -- inserting batteries, placing the pad on (directions state attach strip side down. well, there is one side with one stripe and the other side has two stripes), loading the cleaner container (no direction to remove the cardboard inside the section where the container goes and this cardboard looked and felt like plastic and was pretty securely inserted). No direction on actually using it - do you push the button, release, mop or do you hold button while mopping? THe excess cleaner on the floor helped me figure this out. A few more directions, better product labeling, helpful hints, FAQs including with the packaging would have helped.

2ND REPLACEMENT STOPPED WORKING

I'm on my second replacement. Just like the first one, It works a few times, then stops working altogether. Never had a problem before with Swiffer WetJet... till now. I'm suspecting that the main issue is they've redesigned this product so it only uses 2 batteries now instead of the usual 4 batteries. Whatever's going on, Procter & Gamble, you need to sort this out!

While our WetJets now require 2 batteries instead of 4, this has no affect on the performance of the product. We suggest replacing the batteries with fresh AA ones, making sure that the solution bottle isn't empty and that it's fully inserted, and gently brushing the nozzles to help loosen any clogs. BROKEN internals, poor design.

After several months, the internals got wet and corroded the motor. The plastic brackets broke as well. Waste of money to but the mop, the bottle, wipes and battery if it all gets wet and fail. Why did you design, build and market such a cheap design and provided an unrealistic warranty? I cant return it, no one should every buy expensive cleaning tools to throw in the garbage. waste of money.

Newer not always better.

Had one for years that finally quit. It snapped at the upper handle near the button. Took 4 batteries. New takes 2 batteries and doesn't seem to work as well. Can't find the 4 battery jobs anymore. Too bad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Would not buy again based on my experience

Very disappointed. Wish I would have seen all the reviews prior to purchase. The swifter only worked for 6 months. Tried several new batteries and yes they were in correctly
