My kids purchased a 46" Samsung as a Christmas gift last year. I was so impressed with quality I bought a Samsung Blue Ray player this June. When my old 32" TV that I had in the bedroom died a couple of weeks ago I didn't hesitate to purchase a 32" Samsung LCD as a replacement. The picture quality is excellent. I don't need any thing else at the moment but would not hesitate to buy Samsung.

This is my third Samsung LCD TV - My other two, Family room and office are excellent, so when my old style TV in the basement rec room finally died, there was no question as to what brand to buy. In addition to the excellent performance, the owner's manual has been improved and is more consumer friendly, as have the menu controls and choices.

Great Value for the Price

I just purhased this tv after my old style bedroom set died. The picture is great. The size is perfect and it's very lightweight. I did a bit of research on LCD/LED tvs before I made this purchase and Samsung was normally rated at the top of any list that I found. When I got to the store and saw the price on this set, I didn't think twice about purchasing it. Samsung's reputation combined wtih the price was the deciding factor for me. Very happy with it.

We purchase this unit when our old set of 25 years died. My son told us obout it and help us buy this unit. It was faril easy to set up for person in there early 70s.
I own several LCD TVs; Samsung, Vizio and Panasonic and various sizes. The larger Panasonic and Samsung are comparable in picture and sound.
Although the picture on the Samsung 32" is good, I am disappointed in the sound quality. I like bass and this model is lacking in that area even with or without the surround sound and adjusting the equalizer settings. With my 46" Samsung the sound is so much better and should be with more wattage. The sound is, however better than the Vizio I own.
I did connect my Logitech Pure-Fi speakers and it made a huge difference. The main downfall to this is that the TV volume control does not affect the external speaker volume. At least make this a dedicated feature so using external speakers can be controlled by the TV remote. The Pure-Fi speakers do have a remote but we should need need several remotes for volume.
Another negative is that the audio/video connections, headphone jack and USD connection are all on the back of the TV. If the TV is mounted on the wall it is difficult to make connections especially the USB to view pictures. I guess you can purchase a USB extension cable to solve this issue. Either add some connections on the side of the the TV (like the 46") or place all the connections on the side.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: needs more bass, remote should also control external speaker volume, location of audio/video connections
