Awesome picture, poor sound!

This TV was a Christmas present and has been a great set so far with the exception of the sound. The built-in speaker(s) seem to be of a really poor quality and now matter what I do in the settings, everything sounds gargled or fuzzy sounding. Other than that, I have no complaints.
I used the audio cables I received when Dish Network hooked up my HD satellite, and hooked them up to my stereo.

I have owned the TV since December of 2010 and have enjoyed it very much! I love all of the features and settings and the ease of using the remote that came with it. If you want a decent TV you wont go wrong with this one, but be prepared to use an external speaker set up.
I gave this purchase 4 stars only because of the poor internal speakers. Come on Samsung!! For the money a person spends on a decent TV,you could at least install quality sound!! :(

Cons: horrible speakers!

Excellent television

This model is one of Samsung's rather inexpensive televisions. However, the performance is quite good, with a razor-sharp picture (on digital cable) and extensive, customizable options.
My only complaints regard the sound-quality and the cheap, shiny black plastic trim. The tiny built-in speakers have to be turned up quite a bit to hear a DVD or standard (non-digital) cable programming; I remedied the problem with surround-sound speakers and digital cable. The shiny black plastic trim is a dust- and fingerprint-magnet (and it scratches easily).
Despite my quibbles, I highly recommend this TV!

Bought this TV quite a while ago and at first I was relatively pleased with its picture. But a week or so later I saw a vastly superior LED tv with a much clearer picture, a less obnoxious bezel and full 1080p for about 60 bucks more, and just had to return it. Overall, it wasn't a bad Tv; it just couldn't compare with the TV I ended up replacing it with.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Samsung TVs are really nice. I am using 32 inch TV from long time and I am really liking it. Wish there is an upgrade promotion so i could upgrade to new technology WI-FI TVS by Samsung. I am still planning for big TV for another room.
