Great Picture, lousy sound!

If all you did with a tv is look at the picture, I would give this model a 5 star plus. But unfortunately there comes sound along with the picture and this is where my tv falls into a minus 1 rating. The sound from the built-in speakers is like the people are talking to you through two tin cans on a string. That is not an exaggeration. My tv didn't sound too bad at first, but now at 6 mos. old it has gotten so bad that I have attached powered external speakers and muted the tv speakers. Of course the sound is great, but the trouble is that you cannot control the volume through the external speakers with the tv's remote so to change the volume I have to get up and adjust the volume on the speakers. This becomes especially annoying when high volume comercials come on. If you ran this through a home theater system the built-in speakers would be a moot point, but I have this in a bedroom and don't need all the bells & whistles in there. Because of inferior sound from the built-in speakers I would not buy this tv again, nor would I reccomend it to anyone planning to use it as I do.

The picture is clear and bright. I like the built-in speakers, but the sound quality is poor, had to turn the volume level up high. After 7 months the power gave out. Good thing it's still under warranty. Would not recommend this model to anyone.

Just an excellent LCD TV

This product has great picture

I love this tv. Except the sound does not work on the tv when i plug my xbox 360 into the tv. Only the picture. I cannot figure out why it wont work. Besides that it is a great tv.
