Terrible Grill Cooktop

We built a home and moved in 6 months ago. I chose this cooktop just for the grill. I was so excited to have a grill indoors for the cold winters here in Colorado. But after one use, what a waste of money! The one time we used the grill, it took a while to heat up, did not cook evenly and the clean up was the worst! It took over an hour to take it apart and clean. Then I was afraid I would not be able to put it back together! There are so many pieces and the grease trap doesn't even work! Now it just sits there and I cover it up with foil to keep it clean. What an eyesore it is now. Agree with the one review. There should be a conversion kit for the griddle so at least this grill portion gets used. Do not buy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the grill is hard to clean and makes a mess all over the range top when you use . Had to replace the grill one on the grills broke off. The cook top would be a better value, and it would have been better if you could interchange the the two, instead making them permit one way. Another burner would be better than the grill.
