I am 84 years old and bought this refrigerator after I had to move...I love everything about it...for me it's fantastic!!! Thank you Whirlpol for making such an awesome product!!! I would buy another one anytime

Better than anticiapated

First, and foremost for us, it is quiet. Using less energy at lower sound levels. Saves on summer cooling too, less wasted heat.Doors close tight. No leakage here.Bi-level bottom freezer allows us "less tall than average" people to see everything at a glance, nice lighting too. Door closes snug.Bright white interior and glass shelves make it easier to find stuff.Did I mention how well the doors close off cold air loss and frosting over from outside air leakage?And unless I forget, it's quiet too.

1st bottom freezer purchase

After researching, reading and reviewing my refrigerator options before entering the store to purchase, I was already sold on this model. It is my 1st experience with a bottom freezer and I LOVE IT! The frig is spacious and the door shelves hold a lot.

We purchased our refrigerator right before the holidays and found it to be large enough to hold food for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners with family. It is VERY quiet compared to our old one, has lots of shelf and drawer space. I love the lower pull out freezer because the freezer is opened much less than the refrigerator so it's easier on the back! Thus far, the unit has functioned correctly temperature-wise as per my refrigerator thermometer.

I love the appliance but the freezer door handle has issues!

I love the look and energy efficiency of this refrigerator. The issue I have with this is, the handle to the freezer constantly comes off when opening it! It is extremely frustrating. Always putting the freezer handle back on and having to shove it very hard to get it to lock into place. For the money paid this is something they should definitely rethink about the design.

The features are awesome. I am short and was concerned that I would not be able to reach the top shelf. I have no problems reaching the shelf and seeing and using items up there. The pull out shelf below my meat drawer is very convenient to reach items in the back. The ice maker is so easy to use and keeps up with our never ending demands. I can see all the items in the freezer compartment with the wire mesh type drawer system, nothing gets old or out dated.
