Simple and Attractive

This refrigerator is quiet, simple, and attractive. The energy efficiency is great and it has bright lights in the refrigerator and the freezer.

both my wife and myself are very happy with the refrigeratorit is a little unhandy to get any ice from the bottom unit but we don't use that much ice to ere its a problemthe doors shut nice and tight and we keep a temp. gauge to track the temp and it stays right on 35 deg. at all time we are very happy with our ice box

good bottom freezer fridge

my only complaint so far, after 4 months, is that the freezer handle tends to come loose and come off in my hand every so often. you might want to do something about that. otherwise, I'm quite happy with the refrigerator.

I like the refrigarator very much. However I have a problem with not being able to reconfigure the freezer shelf on the left side . It seems to be stationary so you cannot change the location of the devider or remove entirely.

My Whirlpool Refrigerator

I "Love" our Whirlpool Refrigerator. It was easy to set up and install the water. The adjustable shelves and various crispers, are great. We have plenty of room. The ice maker and all the operations of it, are quiet. The design looks really good, and we look forward to the energy savings.Love everything about it; and couldn't be happier.

Love my new Fridge!

I do love it, it's so clean and the lighting is great. The love the way it's set up with the freezer having pull out drawers. I love that it uses less electricity than our last one and I love the fact that it's very pretty with the stainless steel doors. I do have just a few problems: I notice, at times, the door is hard to open. I admit, it may be because the seal is so tight on the door which keeps the cold air inside, but it is bothersome at times. Secondly, the stainless steel doors are a bit hard to clean. It says to just use mild soap and water and it does clean them, but sometimes there are marks still there--(I know I'm picky!).

Design brings forward the best, and improves on it

Too bad Whirlpool's web site is so cumbersome to register with. Maybe more people would review instead of just disgruntled (thus motivated) customers.I'm not disgruntled, I'm happy. This fridge replaces a reliable 22 year old top freezer "gold" Whirlpool. I'm glad to see the good parts of the design that are time tested are carried forward : door shelf design, inside shelf design, ice maker design. Yet, they are improved: shelves disassemble easier for cleaning, more see-thru plastic, crisper baffle design doesn't get in the way of cleaning. They make good use of the space.The box is quiet. The other sounds like from the ice maker or freon leveling are very infrequent. There is a low hum that can be noticed, but it isn't bad.You read about ice makers being problematic on some brands. I have high hopes here since it looks like the design is similar to my 22 year old one, which was solid.Some things to know: the doors are a "tough pull". The seals give you energy efficiency, but are a bit of a hassle. The leveling feet must be extended so that door opens easy. If you get stainless steel, know that the SIDES are black. This is not clear from the pictures.I would give quality 5 stars, but it came with a non-working freezer bulb. Everything else works great so far. Fingers crossed for another 22 years.
