Initial need for a refrigerator that allowed ease of access to stored food items without bending and using one's back just to see and access food and liquids. New feature with freezer section located below allows for better visual access to stored items, and provides more space for easier access all the way around.

The refrigerator is well designed functionally. It is easy use as long as you do not mind bending over to get into the low freezer unit on the bottom. If you do not use the freezer much, then it will be fine for you, as it is for me.I do wish the shelves in the top had a bit more flexability regarding height options.Too bad the rivet covers on the front right had to be exposed. This does detract from its beauty a bit.Overall, I love it!

We waited a long time for our 1990's Maytag side by side frig to break. It never did, but was noisy and an energy hog. Our decision was easy when we chose the 22 ft Whirlpool Gold bottom freezer refrigerator. The price was excellent! This frig does everthing we need and is also energy efficient and quiet.

I love the freezer on the bottom. I love one door for the fridge.Thank you for this design. Most refrigerators with the freeze on the bottom have 2 doors I do not like that.

I love the movable shelves and ease with which they can be moved around. I like the ice maker and the roomy freezer. I did some research on this product and found out that it has very high ratings and I would agree. I also like the savings in terms of electricity usage. The added benefit is that it is made in the United States.

With the refrigerator on top I don't have to stand on my head to use the bottom shelf with the bottom freezer, the basket pulls out and the shelf with the ice maker is easy to use.

I love my new 22 cu. ft. Whirlpool Gold? Bottom Freezer Refrigerator with Energy-Saving Resource Saver? Technology. It has lots of room for the food and lots of room in the door for large bottles of cold drinks and milk.Very happy with my purchase.
