Love the space, light and ease of view of everything

I love the large shelves in the door to hold the milk and juices. The glass shelves are great since you can see what is on the bottom shelf.I really love not having to bend over to get to something I want that is on the bottom shelf in the back. The freeze take a little getting used to being on the bottom. The controls are right in the top front and easy to read and reach.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Our older Whirlpool Refrigerator was working just fine but wanted to upgrade to a unit with the freezer on the bottom and to use less electricity. There is not a great assortment of units with the freezer on the bottom but our local dealer was most helpful in choosing the right one.The way the shelving and drawers are arranged is a real plus. Seems to have much more room than our old one even tho its the same cubic feet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Capacity and manufacture quality has diminished

There are fewer features in the refrigerator door. The fruit and vegetable drawers no longer have air circulation and slide on rails rather than "wheels". Finally, there is less freezer capacity and more difficult access. Previously, we had a Kenmore made by Whirlpool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the freezer needed service after 9 months

the freezer is not well designed nor space sufficient.It clogged and water was dripping from under the refrigerator onto my hardwood floor. A few of the hardwood boards have warped.

Good and quiet !

We've only had this refrigerator for about a month so I can't comment on the quality, but it does appear to be nice. It is very quiet and looks great. My only complaint about the bottom freezer is how much space the drawer system takes up. Don't expect to stuff it full, like you would with a normal top freezer.Also, you have to make sure the door closes completely after each use. We were used to lightly closing the door and walking away with our old unit, but this one will not seal unless you purposely close the door. We have woken up in the morning to find the door open a half inch with everything inside completely warm...
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was a replacement for a side by side. Should have done it sooner,so much easier to get to items and plenty of room too. stainless surface is easy to keep clean.

I love this refrigerator mostly because of the bottom freezer. It iseasy to access and keeps up with our quantity of ice needs. The freezer has plenty of room and the refrigerator also has easy access. No more bending over to get the veggies out of the usual drawers on the bottom of the refrigerator. The sound level is OK and guess a totally noiseless fridge is a dream anyway! .
