Great fridge so far.

I've had this Whirlpool for about 3 months or so and so far it's been great. I haven't had water leakage at the bottom yet but it seems like it will eventually happen based on many reviews. My only complaint at all is the design of the storage on the bottom freezer. The drawers that pull out are hard to work with and require serious organizational skills and repeated flattening out of items otherwise they won't slide back in. One is above the other. Why not side by side or something? Or even one large open area. I've also had the freezer handle come completely off twice but it slides back on, nothing is broken.

A truly handy great looking appliance

We thought we would like a bottom freezer, now that we have used it for awhile, we love it. Having everything in the refrigerator section at eye level is great. It don't use any more energy than our older smaller refrigerator did. It is a truly great functioning and great looking addition to our kitchen

I really like having the refrigerated section at eye level. I don't like the design of the freezer. We've lost two freezer-loads of food because packaging got caught in the wire baskets, imperceptibly preventing the drawer from fully closing. I'm shopping for a remote temperature sensor/alarm to prevent another loss. Limited freezer capacity and inability to store items in an upright position add to my buyer's remorse.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Energy efficient and spacious, with adjustable shelves and door bins. Good lighting in fridge and freezer sections. The produce drawers have adjustable humidity settings, a great feature for optimal storage of fruits and veggies. The drawer bins slip out when opened all the way. Wish the designers added stopper on the sliders to prevent this. On the up side, the freezer drawers slide beautifully. We've had the Whirlpool bottom freezer fridge for 6 months and overall, it works like a champ and it is an attractive addition to the kitchen.

I recently purchased this fridge after buying a more elaborate fridge 3 years ago. I had previously purchased a fridge with all the bells and whistles bc I thought that's what I wanted. Turns out the more bells and whistles there are, the more things there are to break. I found myself back on the market for a new one only 3 years later. I purchased this Whirlpool bc it is simple and easy to use. I have had it for about 4 months now and have had no performance issues. I wish the freezer was a little bigger bc of the space consumed by the ice maker but I have no complaints other than that. A great product for the price.

This Whirlpool Gold Refrigerator has 2 humidity controlled drawers for produce, plus another drawer for cold cuts, etc. The shelves are huge plus the door has shelves for separate food, and the bottom one will hold a gallon of milk! First time for a bottom freezer & I LOVE it!! I can find everything quickly, & can freeze much more than my old top freezer. ALL of my appliances (Range, Dishwasher & Microwave) ARE Whirlpool Gold!! I wouldn't buy anything else!!!Thank you for your FINE products!!

We love the wide, adjustable shelves that are very easy to clean. But occasionally we have problems with the freezer door not closing tightly It may be operator error.

I like the simple design , no bells & whistles .The product looks awesome in my kitchen . When I open the door I can see everything ! Nothing gets pushed to the back. Love it!! I would highly recommend this refrigerator . My only complaint is that it is a little loud at times.
