This product is way better than any side by side

The fact that the refrigerator section has only a single door that allows much more room for larger items. We have always bought side by sides in the past, but so far we are very pleased with this unit.

I bought this recently and am happy with how quiet the fridge is. Great design. I'm glad Whirlpool still makes a model that doesn't have a water dispenser on the door.

Loving the Extra Refrigerator Space

After 35 years, our old refrigerator finally died for good. We wanted the most refrigerator for the available space. Just about everything is an improvement--more refrigerator space, lower energy consumption, easy to use freezer on the bottom. There are a couple negatives: 1. The freezer space temperature adjust is too coarse; 2. The refrigerator space temperature adjust is too fine with a too-narrow range; 3. The refrigerator in general is not vented well enough. #3 needs some explanation. When either the refrigerator or freezer door is opened, cold air spills out. This is replaced by warm air from the room. When the door is closed, the warm air cools rapidly and creates a partial vacuum inside. This makes it difficult to open either door until the vacuum slowly disappears, about 30 seconds.

The design of my new Whirlpool refrigerator is terrific. The refrigerator arrangement is excellent and facilitates the finding of my food with ease. Plenty of space on the shelves and I love the deep storage in the door. The freezer is very acessible and easy to select my frozen foods. The refrigerator is very energy efficient and runs very quietly. It is wonderful having the freezer on the bottom. I love the design of the unit. It is well worth the price for all that it provides and is affordably priced. This is a terrific item and I would highly recommend it to my friends and family. Thanks Whirlpool!

We are very happy with the fridge on the top ! Only "con" is that the shelving/racks inside are quite "chintzy" and I am not confident that it will last very long with a family our size ?

Freezer on the Bottom...YES!

It just makes sense to have the cold where it collects and should be...Also we are a taller than average family so having the accessible food on top is a good idea. Wish the bottom freezer units were not so much more expensive than the ones with freezers on top.....What's that all about, anyway?..But we are enjoying our new Whirlpool!
