We bought this refrigerator based on the quality of our Whirlpool Gold dishwasher and again were very impressed.Quiet and well made, this appliance was a wonderful addition to our home and is yet another Whirlpool appliance we'll be singing the praises of.

We are very happy with our new purchase. We have had it a couple of months now and can't think of one thing we don't like. It is quiet, the icemaker can keep up with our demands. It was designed with eash of use and set up, we can put a lot into this one with all the storage in both the fridge and freezer. So glad we got this, and will look into Whirlpool for our future purchases.

This model is kind of generic, but overall, does what it needs to. The drawers should seal better, 'cause how does climate control work when they don't seal? Love the door space, and bottom freezer. The price was very right, and I feel I got what I paid for. If you want more features and more space, then you'll need to spend a LOT more. This model is a great middle of the road model.

Ice Accummulates, Leaks

Efficient, quiet, works well, except: After about one year (after warranty expired) we started noticing water leaking out onto the floor. Ice was building up in the bottom of the freezer, probably due to a clogged drain. Now we have to chip the ice out every week or two or pay to have it repaired. Don't buy if you have wood floors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The freezer on the the bottom makes sense. I don't miss my ice dispenser at all, because its so easy to access the cubes. I have a lot more room in the freezer and it's easy to see everything. In the upper section, everything is at eye level.

I love the freezer on the bottom. Other models I have used where the freezer is on top had problems with items falling out so this model is great since that is not an issue. Two things I really don't care for:1) the noise level is below average2) ice falls through the grated drawer which means you have to remove the freezer draw periodically to clean the ice out

I love this Fridge! It is huge and all our veggies stay fresh!! The freezer on the bottom is great! This Fridge is the best I have ever owned!!!
