Overall, this product is excellent if you don't want French

There are many features I like: 1) the freezer drawer on the bottom; 2) the top door stays in position when opened; 3) the humidity-controller drawers; 4) plenty of room for tall containers; 5) easy access to ice cubes; 6) the position of the shelves (I haven't re-positioned the shelves since it was installed); and 7) easy-to-clean surface. The only feature I don't care about is the noise of the ice maker when it drops ice into the empty tray.

The handle in the door came off but was able to put it back

Not very happy, minor issues but it is a new fridge. The handle in the door came off and had to call service, i was able to put it back before they came but still. I am changing the light bulb in the freezer for the 2nd come in less than three months!!! Not overly happy!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After careful consideration and I did purchase a side by side but was not satisfied I finally decided on the bottom freezer model. It is an excellent product and I have all whirlpool appliances in our home, thank you for allowing me to comment on your fantastic product

We love the shelving design of the refrigerator. It holds more food and things are easy to locate because it is at eye level. The crispers are large enough to hold celery and various vegetable. The meat keeper is also roomy enough to store whole salamis and cheeses.The door shelves are roomy enough for several gallons of milk, condiments, and dressings.The freezer is spacious and the 2 pull outs make it easy to find what you are looking for.We hated to part with our old refrigerator, but we are glad we did because we are very happy with our Whirlpool.The refrigerator runs quiet and is cost efficient.

Plenty of space for vegetables and meats.Drinks stay cold without overworking the motor.Freezer drawers arrangement is a little odd though.Cannot make use of the available space because of the way the drawers are set up.Great savings in electricity.
