Functional, good design

this aaadesign this is the first refrigerator I have owned with a bottom freezer......love it! Will never go back to top freezer model.

Holds temperature well, easy use, nice apperarance, especially like bottom drawer freezer. Only bad point is freezer drawer handle comes off easily and there appears to be no way to make it slip on more tightly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this refrigerator a few months ago and have been very happy with it. Much more energy efficient than our previous frig. My wife has the setting on 4, which works out perfectly. The freezer on the bottom is just big enough. We are extremely satisfied with our Whirlpool. :))

Problems start 2 months after warrenty expires

The refrigerator looks good and works pretty well. The produce drawers don't fit very well in their wells, but that's excusable. The real problem is that the refrigerator started leaking water after about 14 months of use. The area behind the back wall of the freezer collected a bunch of water which froze. We removed the drawers to access the area and it's consumed most of a Saturday. I have not found any useful repair documentation online.The local repair show charges $80 for the first half hour and $30 for each additional 15 minutes. We purchased the refrigerator to avoid these situations. Never again.

I have a bad back & not bending over all the time I go into refrig is great, no strain plus not hitting my head on the freezer door as in my old refrig with upper freezer. Very spacious inside, love the adjustable shelving

New buyers beware!

This fridge with bottom freezer will start acting up after 2 years if not sooner. I loved it too but then freezer starts getting "snow" and fridge stops blowing cold air. I am on my 3rd year and it's going in the garbage. Keeps happening every 3 weeks!

This is the best designed refrigerator of the five I have owned during my lifetime. The bottom freezer holds more without contents falling out when I open the door and the ice cubes have remained loose and good tasting. Having the food storage area at eye level makes it much easier to see what is there and thus to be more aware of what might need to be discarded. The temperature level has remained more constant than other models I have used.
