A Outstanding value for the Price

I checked many many Brands and came back to the Worlds leader in my opinion. For the Price there is nothing that even comes close to this machine. And you know you can trust Whirlpool to Stand behind there Product.

We are in month 2 of ownership and we have seen the savings on the electricity bill. About 20 dollars to be exact. This replaced an older side by side refrigerator.We had originally went to purchase a Samsung, but after visiting the store and seeing all the returns of that brand, it changed our minds. They said they get fewer break downs and returns with the whirlpools. That was a major deciding factor.It is so easy to keep clean, which was a qualm with the side by side, which was a long chore to clean. The seal around the doors, seem very durable and thick. I know that is a weak spot as refrigerators age. The bottom freezer holds way more than I thought it would of. I feel like I am playing a game of Tetris when I stock it after shopping. The ice-maker has been very consistent.The noise level at first really put me off, I actually thought we had a defective unit , but after time I have become complacent with it. I feel that all the noise has to do with it trying to be energy efficient. I adore the freezer baskets, but when a stray ice cube falls to the inside floor of the freezer, it's extremely hard to fetch it. I have to lay on the floor and reach my hands in to grab.I would recommended this to friends and think its a great buy.

Very efficient design. More room for our tight space

We ordered another bin for the door to increase space efficiency. The door seal on the refrigerator section is strong. Best to hold the unit from rolling when opening the upper door. Very happy with this purchase. Owned for 2 months.

I am extremely satisfied with my new Whirlpool refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. This is the second time I have purchased a refrigerator made by this company...never had any problems and love how quiet they are!

Everything is sturdy and very well made. It runs like a top. The inside is well designed for easy organization and the unit is easy to keep clean. It is definitely the best refrigerator we have ever owned. If you are looking for a well built appliance that is convenient and solid, look no further.

Broken after 1 month

We are so disappointed in this fridge/freezer. We purchased a new home and upgraded our fridge to this specific one, as we loved the size of the fridge compartment, and that the freezer was on the bottom, also I liked the idea of an icemaker. Well exactly a month after owning this fridge, I went to get an ice cube because my milk was oddly warm, and found that all the ice (as long as hamburger meat and frozen veggies) was in a melted puddle in the freezer! The fridge didn't drop in temperature quite as quickly, but it did die, and all of our food as spoiled. The repair guy came today and says that there was a "massive leak". I'm just hoping that the refridgerant isn't harmful anymore (I can't find any information about what it uses for refridgerant), and that the leak is contained within the back of the fridge and doesn't start leaking on the floor. We're waiting for parts, but as it goes now, I regret buying a whirlpool fridge at all. It was supposed to be a brand name, a good quality fridge, but instead it lasted a month. I've also read reviews about it leaking all over the floor because of the defrost line plugging up... so I'm a bit worried for the future as well. So very very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOVE THIS FRIDGE !

This refrigerator has worked perfectly since day one. I love love love the design with the freezer on the bottom -- no more bending down to look on the lower shelves of the fridge and I believe the freezer's space is easier to use. The fridge is pretty even on the inside and modern looking. Operation is pretty quiet. At first I heard a few "odd" noises but once I fully read the manual and found out they were normal, I don't even notice them anymore. The temperature stays spot on in both compartments. I highly recommend ths refrigerator !i

This a great compact refrigerator. The amount of space inside is great. I have had it for 4 months and am still loving it. An appliance should be maintenance free long after you purchase it and this is. Now if it was self cleaning I would have it made!
