Great Refrigerator

So far (3 weeks) this refrigerator has performed as advertised' Love the freezer on bottom. Have not hooked up the ice maker and do not intend to. I have heard that they are nothing but trouble and since we really do not need felt it would only creat problems. The size is great for us. We have a family of 6. Would recommend

I have really enjoyed my refrigerator so far. I was told I should buy a special appliance outlet surge protector. If there is an electrical surge and it blows out your control panel, this could be costly to replace.The appliance is very roomy and looks modern. I had a side by side before and like this design much better.

Makes good ice, has quite a bit of space up top. This is our first bottom-freezer model, so it's taking some adjustment to having all our frozen food down below rather than more at eye level like our old side-by-side model. It's pretty easy to keep clean, and the shelving is easily adjusted. Overall we are pleased with this refrigerator

Three years old and service calls already! Water build up on floor would melt and end up leaking water all over or floor. That had to have service call (no warranty). Then another call when the defrost cycle caused leaking into the downstairs. The drain pan had a crack in it which appeared to have tape over it put on in the factory! Would not buy Whirlpool again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We don't know electricity cost for this 1-month-old refig. However, this refig kept quiet most of time.

I wanted a bottom drawer freezer as I had had one before and found it far more convenient than any other design. You get into the freezer much less often than the refrigerator, so you save a lot of bending. I found the design of this freezer to be the easiest one to arrange and later locate the contents than I have ever used, a big plus. The design of the interior of the refrigerator is also quite functional. The operation is quiet and the exterior is a pleasing design. Overall I found it to be the best design for my dollar when purchasing it, and I have not been disappointed.

Good Fridge - a little noisy

I like the size and function. The freezer is ok and would be better without the drawer divider and ice maker (a phone call I need to make). The only thing is - it will hum rather loudly every now and then. Guess I will add that to my phone call! I got a no-frills for a good price and it does the job better then my old one!
