Great Frig

We hadn't purchased a refrigerator for 20 years....did a lot of looking and comparing. We chose the Whirlpool brand with the freezer on the bottom. We've had the frig for 9 + months now and we really like the freezer on the bottom. When you open it everything is well lit and easy to access. The main door to the refrigerator seals very well and you have to put some effort into opening it -which to me is a good thing. The design works well so that everything is easy to access and the shelving is easily moved for cleaning or to adjust for various sizes. Great purchase.

My old frig was from 1989, so you can imagine the differences. I love the bottom freezer and the fact that everything in the fridge is easy to see and use. The additional storage space in the door is a real plus. It's also nice to actually see a reduction in our electric bill.

What an upgrade!

After 38 years of living with the cheapest, most basic refrigerators, we decided to invest in something that would last the rest of our lives. We spent many months researching them until we reviewed the Whirlpool Gold. So glad we made the purchase. Great layout, great space, actually saves us money on our electric bill every month. The unit runs so quietly, we never know it is running. We also liked the fact that we were supporting US made products. Way to go Whirlpool! You have made our lives in the kitchen much happier!

I really like having the bottom freezer. I feel like everything in the refrigerator section is within easy reach. No more "lost" leftovers.

Everything I need in a fridge

This fridge is easy to use. I love the placement of drawers and shelving. The door shelves hold so much. I like that it can hold full size bottles like wine and coffee creamer. The only innovation I would like would be a door alarm. Something to warn when a door is left open too long. Very easy to clean , both inside and out.

We love this fridge! It is energy efficient. It has lots of room for storage. This is our first bottom freezer and I love it. We use the fridge 90% of the time over the freezer, so love everything at eye level.
