great refrigerator

this refrigerator is just great. I love the freezer on the bottom and everything in the refrigerator is at eye level. seems very quiet and I even got a rebate for it being energy efficient. no complaints!!

Easy to rearrange!

Bought a 22 cu foot Whirlpool refrigerator last month. The slide out freezer makes getting things out easy. It has plenty of space and it is a snap to arrange the shelves. Great product!

Leaking Water

Our refrigerator has begun to experience what is apparently a common problem with this model. Water is leaking onto the floor around the two front feet. We are finding ice sheets formed in the bottom of the freezer

Puddles on Floor, Ice in Bottom of Freezer

I've got the same problem as others ... every week or so we find a puddle on the floor coming from the freezer. This happens when the bottom of the freezer fills with ice and there is nowhere for the additional water to go other than to force itself through the door seal and onto the floor. VERY DISAPPOINTING after only 5 years! The only remedy is to stay ahead of the ice buildup in the freezer, but who wants to be emptying their freezer and chiseling ice out of the bottom every week? We are shopping for a replacement unit, and it won't be a Whirlpool.

The fridge area has gotten warm and the freezer is icing up. Similar to other complaints found in these reviews. Refrigerator is about 6 years old. All worked fine until now.

I've had this fridge for about 2 years, and almost right away I noticed it was leaking on the floor. And after reading other reviews, I think it must be a factory error.
Otherwise it's a good fridge, but a pool of water underneath every once in a while is frustrating.

Freezer is cold, refrigerator is warm.

Bought in November 2011 had only problems since then. Like most of the reviews we had a giant sheet of ice on the bottom and the freezer would leak and leave puddles on the floor, and my husband and I would take turns scraping it. My husband was able to fix that problem, but now the freezer is very cold, but the refrigerator is luke warm. I wish we would have known how many problem this freezer/refrigerator would cause. If we did we definitely would have not purchased.
