Great Buy

We bought the bottom freezer model because we had trouble bending down with the top freezer model. We had difficulty finding what we were looking for. This model allows you to see everything very easily and is very bright inside. There is more door storage space, although they could have thrown in another door rack since there is ample space to add another rack. The bottom freezer also is easy to manage and actually stores more than the old top freezer model. We had to go with the one door model because the door opens against a wall. Whirlpool is a great product. The only con that we noticed is that the ice maker is a bit noisy when it is filling.

I love my new Whirlpool refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom! It does not have a bunch of jazzed up features we don't need or use, but it does have convenience, like not bending over every time we want to retrieve an item or store something in the refrigerator. Adjustable glass shelves and door bins helped us customize and maximize our refrigerator's storage capacity. The double sliding drawers in the freezer help me to sort out and store the items I use the most, while keeping the ice deep in the coldest part of the freezer. The perfect refrigerator for my family at this stage of life! We love it!

Smaller footprint

This fridge is smaller, which was what I required as I have a small kitchen. Seems to be less space in freezer than a top freezer model, but I have an extra freezer in basement for overflow anyway.

LONG TERM USE

Piece of junk. 3 years old and I had to replace the drain kit for over 100.00, but hey...it had to be fixed. 3 weeks later, the computer board went, almost 300.00 to fix that! So now I have half the cost of what I paid. Save your money!

Freezer on the bottom; Love it!

I knew I would love my new Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer...and I do, I do, I do! The freezer on the bottom saves me from bending over daily to see what is at the bottom and back of the refrigerator. The pull out freezer door is so easy to use and easy to close. There is an awesome amount of space in both sections so I never have to crowd anything anymore. I certainly would recommend a Whirlpool appliance to anyone and that includes this refrigerator/freezer. Consumers will never be disappointed in their purchase of any Whirlpool appliance.

I bought this refrigerator a few months ago an am very happy with my choice. I have wanted a bottom freezer since my daughter purchased one a few years ago. It is so nice to be able to reach into the spacious shelves and find what I need easily. After having a double door refrigerator for years, I wonder what took me so long to switch? My only suggestion, make freezer larger.

Great Refrigerator

I purchased a Bottom Freezer Refrigerator about 4 years ago and just loved it. Well, I sold my house with the refrigerator! I went right out and purchased another for the new house. The bottom freezer is the way to go. The refrigerator is at waist level and so easy to find everything with the clear glass shelves. I had no problems with the Whirlpool and it worked so well I also purchased a washer and dryer by Whirlpool and they have been fantastic as well.
