Love the that the freezer is on the bottom!

Our new fridge is exactly what we wanted! The shelves in the fridge are sturdy and the door has great room for bigger items like a gallon of milk which gives us more room on the shelves. We love the fact that the freezer is on the bottom since we don't open it as often as we do the fridge. It is nice to look into your fridge and seeing everything at eye level. We would definitely recommend this refridgerator .

A definate winner !

I wasnt sure I wanted a refrigerator with a freezer on the bottom, but after having this product, I am SOLD !! It is quiet and the upper part of the refrigerator is roomy & conveniently at eye level. The only fall back is that getting ice cubes out is a little awkward, but a plastic slotted spoon kept in the ice tray solved that problem !!! A definate winner !!!

Too easily accessible to small children.

The main problem I have had is small children opening and closing the freezer door.The ice maker is very noisy.

Multiple Problems

For two years, I dealt with the water in the bottom of the freezer and leaking out which ruined my kitchen floor and finally got that problem solved and now it a cold freezer and warm refrigerator. I have to manually defrost the unit about every two weeks which takes approximately three hours each time. It will be my first and last Whirlpool appliance. My last refrigerator was 16 years old. Whirlpool sure lacks quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The ice maker works very well, giving us a good supply of ice cubes. We like the ease of adjusting the temperature in both sections.

Was shopping for a replacement for a 30 year old side-by-side Kenmore. Never cared for the side-by side and wanted a "traditional bottom freezer" refrigerator. This one fits that bill. No frills on the door to break and a convenient ice maker that keeps up. My mother bought same model last year and has been very pleased. Have enjoyed the convenience of adjustable shelves. Should have added one more bin for the door for additional storage. Really like the wide storage on door bottom and the wide shelf on the bottom of fridge really assists in loading groceries in. So far very satisfied. Have not noticed the noise that others have mentioned in reviews...ice dumping is heard but is not a distraction.

It keeps everything organized

I wasn't positive about the bottom freezer, but I absolutely love it. The ability to adjust the shelves and drawers make it so you can organize everything much better. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a new fridge. I also love the single door as opposed to the french door style, as everything is much more accessible.
