Great Refrigerator

My wife are extremely happy with choosing this model to replace our old refrigerator. We both love having the the freezer on the bottom and their is so much room in both the refrigerator section and the freezer section.Everything has been working great and we would recommend it to our friends and family.

This is the most poorly designed fridge I have ever had! I have had it two years and have constant water leaking out from the bottom of the fridge (which is not hooked up to any water source), enough to fill the bottom of the freezer with a half-inch sheet of solid ice every week. Also, about a year into ownership, the track holding the produce drawers ripper completely from the shelve, rendering both produce drawers worthless for maintaining freshness. My entire fridge compartment has recently stopped cooling completely. This this is a total lemon and has an unacceptable record of problems for two years of ownership! Stay away!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Whirlpool Refrigerator. It has been great so far and looks so good in the kitchen. It has a very clean look. I have not quite figured out how to properly keep the stainless outside looking as perfect as I would like. I would love to know about specific products that are good to get rid of any small discolorations. Overall, I am very pleased. It also makes ice at a good rate although I do wish that the cubes were a little larger so they would not melt as quickly. I do wish that the shelf with the ise cubes would come out when I open the bottom door instead of making you pull it out everytime to get ice cubes.

This refrigerator is a nice addition to our kitchen. The Whirlpool is much quieter than the GE it replaced. The freezer has a nice set up to maximize useful space. The adjustable shelves and door shelving are great! Hopefully it will stand the test of time.

This is the first refrigerator I have ever personally purchased. I'm 71 years old and all of my previous refrigerators were either chosen by others for me or already existed in the homes I purchased/or rented. I gave careful attention to the design of this refrigerator. I cannot bend over as well now as I could when I was younger so having all of the upper part of the refrigerator open and available for viewing and for retrieving items is a real bonus. I am very happy with the design.
