Good bottom freezer, with fridge at access height.

I wanted a refridgerator WITHOUT an ice maker. I thought that is what I was getting, as the Whirlpool catalog it was ordered from did not list an ice maker. Please make this an option!!! Some of us would like the additional freezer room and know how to freeze water. The noise level is a little louder, when it cycles, than our last fridge, but acceptable once you realize what it is.

I am very happy with this fridgerator. We had a 22 cu in side by side before and there was NEVER enough freezer or refrigerator space but when I moved the frozen items to this new one, everything fit with some room left over. I have so much more refrigerator space too, The shelves can be easily adjustable along with door shelves. I am very pleased. The only negative I can find is it is the ice maker is alittle noisy when the trays are being filled and dumped. But, hey, its still a great fridge!

Smaller than most, but gets the job done.I bought this because of its energy efficiency, but impressed with how much it holds and ease in my kitchen. Not the fanciest, but a work horse.

The freezer space is a poor design.

Because of the ice maker and the divided drawer you can't fit more than 1 pizza box in the freezer. The produce drawers are too small. And the ice maker is very loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great basic fridge

It's nice and roomy inside. I love the stainless steel exterior and all the shelves are rugged.If I had to complain about this fridge, the only semi-complaints I would have are that the drawers for fruit and veggies feel a little light and it feels like if I push too hard the plastic would crack on me. And lastly, no light when you pull open the freezer.

I did not realize how important split shelves are unti I tried a refrigerator without them. I am not sure why any manufacturer would stop making split shelves. I cook for a big family and being able to move the shelves to put tall pots in the refrigerator is critacal. Bory, when I bought one without them I learned big time. I hope all manufacturers will realize this is one of the most important innovations they made in years. If it works do not try to fix it. If you are trying to save money it is a huge mistake.

I love the freezer on the bottom and having frig items at eye level. Somehow seems like there is more room but I think it is just so much more convenient to use the whole refrigerator section.
