I recently purchased the stainless steel Whirlpool bottom freezer refrigerator. I have always had refrigerators with the freezer on the top and find that having the freezer on the bottom is very efficient--I can see everything. The freezer is two layers--the top layer is a basket that can slide forward and back. When you open the freezer door, it stays back; if you want something from that basket, you pull it forward. Then, when you close the freezer door, it closes.The refrigerator has multiple shelves to arrange both on the door and inside. The fruit and vegetable drawers are large and easy to see into. I keep cheeses in the tray above. There is plenty of room for tall bottles, such as open wine bottles and shorter spaces for shorter items--casseroles, plates, etc. On the door, the shelves are deep and I've arranged them to hold my condiments and other bottles. I have the option to change the heights of the shelves, or even remove them, as needed.The doors for the refrigerator and freezer seal very tightly so there is no air loss and it is very quiet and energy efficient.

We have had the refrigerator for about two months and are very pleased. The internal portion of the refrigerator is set up for our convienence and serves that purpose well. The freezer portion is easy to use and the ice tray easy to reach. The refrigerator is as quiet as we have ever had. We are happy customers.

Perfect fridge for our first home.

My wife and I purchased this fridge when we moved into our new home. The design is sleek and goes with any design of kitchen. The space inside is perfect for a 3-4 person household with enough options to move shelves around. The freezer on bottom layout is my favorite feature as it makes it easier to manage food in the fridge without having to bend over and reach.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have used practically all the styles of modern refrigeration availble today. The "bottom" freezer has become our favorite. With the large refrigerator area on the top, it gives us plenty of room for the day to day needs. With the big door and spacious interior, putting and retrieving refrigerated items makes for a smooth and effortless flow to meal preperation. The convenience of having the sliding pull-out bottom freezer with ice maker just adds to the effeciency and its ease of use. This style fits our family perfect and answers our needs when it comes to storing and preserving perishable's. Simply, it just works!

Has a ton of space! The only con is that the deli drawer is positioned a little too high, I have to stand on my tippy toes.. I am short though... :)

Very happy with purchase. Was everything it said it was. Only negative thing I found was the freezer draw does not slide as smoothly as I remembered it was in the store. Could it be weight of food or cold Temp?
