Like the style, generally satisified but doors hard to open

Veggie and Fruit Bins are small, and would have preferred one more shelf option. Freezer dividers are not flexible so hard to make the space work to my needs, freezer door and shelves make noise opening and closing and hard to use. The top door has such strong sunction that it takes two hands to open it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice Design

I bought this in October for my new home. Enjoy the design feature of the freezer on the bottom and refrigerator on top. I took off two stars because sometimes the freezer drawer is left open and it does not have any type of auto door shut feature. Nearly defrosted items in freezer twice. User has to be careful to push drawer shut firmly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We LOVE our new appliance. It has made it easy for me to get things in and out of the freezer, for the short person I am. I love how everything can be organized better for my lifestyle. When we go to purchase another appliance we will DEFFINTLY be purchasing another Whirlpool product. A HUGE THANK YOU for making my lifestyle needs better!!

Convenient access to refrigerated products.

Everything is convenient. Ice maker is easy to access, in door dispenser was not necessary and was just one more feature to potentially break.

This model was one of the few that fitted our kitchen space. It is functional but needed two additional shelves to use the door space efficiently. The aftermarket shelves were expensive and lightweight, missing trim that was on the originals. The vegetable drawers (original) are flimsy and do not sit properly in their rails. I was able to replace two of the high shelves with slide-out shelves from my previous fridge which improved access. The icemaker is quiet and efficient but takes up a lot of space in the freezer drawer. I do not need so much ice unless I am entertaining; the rest of the time I would like to have a smaller ice tray to switch with the standard one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Configuration is everything

The bottom freezer is the ideal configuration for seniors since we are into the frig section far more often than the freezer. This unit seems very wide open so that even though it is somewhat smaller than our last frig it is much easier to load and see everything on the shelves and get to the contents.
I would recommend this to a friend!
