Great 2nd refrigerator/freezer

We needed something in our utility room for overflow of food during the holidays and for sodas and water during the summer when we're working outside. And having the freezer on the bottom is so convenient -- I'm able to easily find the items I froze from our garden. Overall, a great buy.

I replaced my Amana with this refrigerator after considerable research on its advantages over competing brands at a similar cost. It has all of the features that I considered necessary at a very reasonable price. Whirlpool is a trusted name so I felt very comfortable in my purchase.

Bought this to replace a older side by side model. Very pleased with it, keeps fridge items nice and cold at a setting of 5 and freezer is ideal on a 4 setting. Very quiet running looks good, one of the highest interior volume for a unit this size....no complaints.

I love the bottom freezer. Makes everything you need every day at your fingertips. And, it keeps milk and other liquids in the door and very cold.

We were rushed to buy and I counted on previous experiences with Whirlpool in our decision. We nixed getting the French style refrigerator because it would be a too much guessing which door to open. Therefore, we decided on the bottom freezer since you open it less. As other stated, the ice dropping is loud and the bottom trays can fall out, otherwise we love it!.
