a lot more space than previous refrigerator

like the large freezer on the bottom and large storage on topreplaced side by side of same size but seemed to have less storagein freezer and refrigerator

I love this refrigerator. It is very spacious. The freezer opens so easily, and holds way more than I thought it would. We have a small space for the refrigerator to fit in so having the pull out freezer works very well. It runs very quite.

Purchased this model Jan 2011. All seems well with this fridge until 18 months old then the ice buids up in bottom of freezer. Defrost and cleaning drain plug didnt solve the problem. Repair man diagnosed that defrost electronic board is bad. $500 for parts to repair this. Not sure I want to go there

This product is energy efficient!

I moved into a condo with older appliances. It seemed like the fridge ran a very long time during one cycle so I used a meter I had purchased a while back to test the voltage,amperage and wattage. The wattage seemed a little high, so I made the decision to purchase a new Whirlpool with the bottom freezer (most efficient). What a difference! The wattage was reduced by half and so was the run time! The ice maker runs like a charm and I am very pleased with my purchase. I would highly recommend my whirlpool and it's made in Michigan.
