We are just a family of two. Did not want a huge refrigerator. This size was perfect for our need.I really wanted a swing door feature but the bottom drawer is working so far.....have to get used to it. Would of liked more storage areas on inside of door.Love the black stream line look ... a few more chrome accents on handles... would make the refrigerator stand out more.Runs very quietly and the top portion of refrigerator is easy to spot everything in site.Overall we are pleased with our purchase.

We originally bought another brand refrigerator and returned it the next day because it made a LOT of noise. The Whirlpool is very quiet, and we also love everything else about it. When we first opened the door, we were amazed at how much room there was. We love the sliding shelves, the humidity control on the produce drawers , and the presence of a meat drawer ( not a standard feature in some models). This refrigerator is so easy to use in every way. Cleaning this product is super easy. The bottom freezer is huge!! It is very well organized with a pull out top shelf for the ice bin, plus a good space for ice cream. The large bottom section is divided into two parts, making it easy to keep foods organized. This is one of our best appliance purchases ever. It is perfect in every way.

This product is great! Holds everything I need and has great shelf positioning. I only wish the freezer had pull out shelves and not wire baskets.

This product is well made and very dependable. Having the freezer below is a great idea and saves alot of opening/closing the door looking for items. The ice maker is somewhat sporadic and sometimes kicks the ice cubes out into the bottom of the fridge. This causes ice-cubes to "get pulled out" when you open the bottom door. Does not happen alot but when it does, its a slight problem.

Excellent features & design

The features and design of this refrigerator are 1st rate. Everything seems well thought out and falls readily to hand. The build quality (albeit 4 months in) seems exemplary. A couple of suggestions for improving the product:(1) Instructions for reversing the door were INCORRECT about how to remove the handle. This appears to be a cut & paste mistake. Figuring out how to actually remove the handle was very difficult (I've owned or rented a dozen or more; I'm also an engineer; fix the instructions).(2) The compressor is rather noisy for a contemporary, high line refrigerator. It is not obvious whether the noise stems from insufficient sound insulation or inadequate vibration isolation in the mounting, but either is a few dollar fix in manufacturing. I expected a refrigerator in this price/performance range to be quieter. So do other potential buyers; fix this.

bottom freezer

We needed a new refrigerator for next day delivery. I always wanted a bottom freezer. We had a side by side refrigerator before and we could not seem to stay organized or find anything. We have only had this product a few months, but so far we are very pleased. The freezer is a little small for a family of four, but I do not overstock ... which is a bonus. We didn't want an ice maker or water on the outside door as they take up too much inside room of the freezer. The ice maker is in the top drawer in the back and works out great. The refrigerator part is very spacious. We have the stainless steel front door and black sides and top. It blends in with our other appliances too. So far we are enjoying both the looks and the functions of this product.
