Great Fridge!

It's a great fridge for an entry level drawer freezer unit. Not many bells and whistles, but it is ergonomic, quiet, and cools great. Door seals a little too good sometimes though and gets hard to open.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Convenient and excellent energy savings

Having the freezer on the bottom is more convenient, allowing eye level access to the refrigerator section which is used more. I've found though, that having items in the freezer in baskets rather than shelves means they are somewhat more difficult to get to. Items on top have to be removed to get to items on the bottom. Shelving and bins in the refrigerator section are adequate and can easiliy be adjustable to meet individual preferences. Energy use is excellent, especially when compared to the 30 year old double door model it replaced. I've noticed a significant drop in my electric bill. Noise is fairly low, except for the ice maker, which can be heard from other rooms.

Far surpasses expectations

Beautiful fridge that keeps all dairy, veggies, meats, cheeses, etc. fresh far longer than any other fridge I have owned! Paired with its sleek look and ease of use I'm hoping I'll have it for a long time.

We love our fridge but would only recommend it to someone that has a deep freeze. If not then your having to dig alot to get what you need. With our deep freeze we can put just what we need immediately in our fridge and store the rest in it.

Lots of interior space for the size!

My wife and I were replacing a small refrigerator and we wanted one with more room, but unfortunately we were limited with the width of refrigerator that we could buy. This was one of only a few refrigerators that we found that would fit a gallon of milk on the door which we wanted to save room in other areas. There is plenty of storage space in the drawers for fruit, vegetables, etc. I have no complaints about this refrigerator. Knowing what we know now....we would definitely purchase this refrigerator again!

The freezer on the bottom is definitely the way to go with a refrigerator. Since you are in the refrigerator much more than the freezer it is wonderful to be able to see inside to the back of the refrigerator without having to stand on your head!I was shocked however that Whirlpool only offered a standard warranty of one year!

Freezer cools down quickly

Overall not a bad purchase.Door handle kept coming off, turned it upside down and locked it in, works fine. Sliding shelves are appreciated, however, when pulling shelf out, stuff falls off back of shelf, so do not pull shelf out. Was aware of klunking noise from previous reviews and it does klunk for some reason. Would be good if ice maker was optional as I would choose to not have it and have the storage space it consumes.
