Only had it two days, but my wife just loves it. Now she wants all the other appliances in Slate finish.

Looks beautiful / terrible quality

Temp flutuates wildly, condensation on items, ice crystals on frozen goods. Air fan & motherboard replaced but still inconsistent temps. Ice maker has leaked twice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this counter depth refrigerator! I have wanted one for 3 years! This one is the best design I could find with the Ice Maker on the door instead of taking up storage space! I love it!!

Great features but too noisy!

This refrigerator is beautiful, inside and out. We like its various features. But when the compressors run a high speed, the noise can be heard at the other end of our house. We regret buying this product because of the noise.

We absolutely love this refrigerator! Not only is it good looking, it has all the features we want - a roomy freezer and refrigerator compartment, and a water dispenser that accommodates large bottles and pitchers. Also, we like that it is not so deep inside the refrigerator. Too often in the past, some things could become "lost" in the back of the fridge and spoil. With this, you automatically are more frugal and efficient in your shopping and use items up more quickly.

Very Nice Refrigerator

We have had the refrigerator for a few days now and we are quite pleased. The slate refrigerator is really good looking. It's quiet, nice bright interior and easy to get to everyday items. We replaced a side-by-side counter-depth refrigerator. I don't think this one has as much room but maybe it's that I'm just not used to the different layout. The only minor annoyance is in order to get to the deli drawer, you have to open both sides of the refrigerator. The bottom freezer is a little different and angles back so it's difficult to really lay anything flat on the bottom. I looked all over for a floor model to look at before purchase but no one had one and I wanted slate!! so I ordered this one. I like it and given the same circumstances I would buy it again. I purchased all the matching appliances, microwave, double wall oven and dishwasher and glad I did. Just know that if you are purchasing this refrigerator that they "just" discontinued it. I didn't know that until I saw it on GEs website after it was installed. I called and customer service said it had been discontinued I believe in February 2016. If you are considering it you may want to call and make sure this is correct.

Nice fridge!

It's a real nice fridge I like the design, the lighting th look over all. Not too loud.
My wife doesn't like the way the French doors were designed...they're so hard to open especially the left door and they make a loud noise every time you open the left door. This hopefully will be redesigned on newer models.
