I am very happy with the refrigerator especially the freezer area. I also like having the ice maker in the door. It's a little more noisy than I'm used to hearing.

It's a good fridge but the ice machine is pretty loud when it dumps ice enough to wake me up at night even though my bedroom is on the second floor

The water dispenser in the door drips and leaves a puddle on the ledge where you set your glass. We've had service out numerous times and the problem still exists. It makes all sorts of strange noises, our old refrigerator never made any noises. You can hear the ice drop from 2 rooms away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

very surprised at the available space and easy access to items in freezer. good use of space in refrigerator.
Could have been 5 stars except that the water filter supplied wouldn't allow ice or water to work, however GE promptly replaced free of charge.
