bad design ice in frog area seems to trick into defrost very noisy

We have been using this for 3 months and love it. Nice looking and very functional. My one complaint is that it is noisy. This is a little bothersome but not so that we'd get rid of it. If silent it would be grrrreat.

We've only had it for 3 days but really like it a lot. It looks very nice. If I could change one thing about it, I would like the long, shallow bottom drawer to be divided into 2 separate drawers so you don't have to open both refrigerator doors to access it. Also, the crushed ice makes a big mess everywhere so you might want to dispense into a wide container instead of a regular glass.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I chose this one over the Profile for it's sleekness. I was surprised on how much room it has for a counter depth refrigerator. It's also very quiet. Love it so far.

Nice Fridge

This is my third GE Fridge within 4 years. We have moved a few times and we always buy GE products. I love GE products and really hate to give this fridge a bad review. I loved the last two fridges that I purchased and planned on purchasing the same fridge that I bought two years ago but it was discontinued. It was the french style doors with the two freezer doors on the bottom.
Cons:
The water area is too low. Thankfully it does have a lock button which will stop my 17 month old from pushing on the button which results in water going everywhere. Not looking forward to locking and unlocking every time I want ice or water.

It also has a flat tray where you set the cups at which I feel should be a tray with holes because the water drips from the top and hits the hardwood floor.
I'm not a fan of the freezer on the bottom only have one pull out drawer. I got used to the two doors which just felt better to me.
Pros:
The top fridge part is nice and big. Plenty of room.

I love the counter depth!!! This looks amazing in our custom kitchen!! Our last fridge wasn't counter depth and stuck out a good distance from the cabinets!!

Ice dispenser is terrible

The ice dispenser scatters crushed ice everywhere and water dispenser always has one last drop to splatter.
