Upon using this unit for the first time, it rejected a brand new DVD several times over. Trying another DVD, I had to re-insert it three times before it would play. I returned the unit for credit the next day. It rejects certain DVD's, Blu-ray or not.
Pros: Style/Design
Cons: Difficult to use, will not play certain dvd's
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I already owned a BD390, so when I decided to buy another Blu-ray player, I naturally looked to LG. The BD500 series had replaced the 300 series, and all machines were a better value, so I decided to buy the top-of-the-line with integrated storage.
I'm very happy with the new machine. Just as easy to set up and use, just as fast (or faster?) -- I'm very pleased!
Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy setup

From box to wireless setup on my network took only about 5 minutes. Netflix is working just great, and quality of picture is great. Only problem is a slight clicking noise as it reads the blu-ray dvd, which can be distracting at times. Is this normal or is this a problem with the new BD570 player?
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: clicking noise

Being able to access Vudu, NetFlix & CinemaNow will change your viewing of almost all your favorite movies. NetFlix streams with no hiccups and Vudu blows CinemaNow & NetFlix out with quality. Definitely thinking about buying another one for the other bedrooms - really is like having a hotel entertainment system at home.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

WiFi Network BluRay BD570

LG has always been first choice for products. Already own LG Series Steam Washer/Steam Dryer, Refrigerator, etc. As always all units perform without flaws. Purchased BluRay BD570 as replacement unit due to features including "ready WiFi." Outstanding player. Awaiting release of Infinia 55LX9500 LED LCD, the 480Hz should "knock your socks off!"
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
