[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this player for a number of years - bought new - It was OK until LG stopped supporting the software. I can no longer access Youtube and a number of video sites. I was until about a year ago.
Pros: Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

VEry easy to configure. Very intuitive and the quality of the product is stunning. Love to be able to watch VUDU, NETFLIX or blue ray DVD's in one device. It is a total hit! I strongly recommended without reservations

Great BluRay for the price

We read many reviews of all the different wireless BluRay players on the market. We were about to buy a Sony, then noticed this had more features. It was extremely easy to connect to our network and find our files. VuDu is awesome! There are so many movies on there that we want to see. We have yet to watch an actual BluRay formatted movie. But we did buy an older movie on BluRay and it looked great!

I have had this blue ray player for over a month now and I love it! It was very easy to connect to my tv and to my wireless internet. I watch netlix instant watch movies on it all the time, but warning...a lot of movies on instant watch are older thus are not hd quality. So you won't see the greatest picture. Love being able to click on Pandora to listen to music! My only complaint is the remote control. It's one of those where you have to push the buttons pretty hard and point it directly to the player for it to work. And sadly the remote didn't have a button specifically for subtitles, in order to change while the movie is playing.
All in all, I've extremely happy with my purchase.

Works ok but had a few problems

At some point, one of the DVD's got stuck in the player and would not come out. I had to take the player apart to remove the disc and found a sticky substance on the top of the disk. Don't know how it got there. I had to clean the disk and the part that suctions to the top of the disk. It did it twice more to clean DVDs and now seems to be better after I've cleaned the player and DVD's. Frustrating but not sure I can blame it on the player.

The BD570 works great and the reception quality is better than the DVR from the cable company.
Takes a bit learn how to navigate through the menus, but otherwise easy enough to use.
Good price for a player that provides good range of internet access through wireless connection.

I recently bought the BD 570. The first one I bought would not boot. Needless to say I returned that one for a replacement. I must say the second one has been all I could have expected. A bit pricey which is why I gave 4 stars for value. Also due to the first one being defective out of the box I gave 3 stars for quality even though the replacement has worked flawlessly, I feel at this price we should expect a better out of the box working rate. The customer service person made mention of a high return rate for lots of newer electronic products. Other wise I can say this one is very quiet and performs all functions as advertised.

We've had zero problems. Great picture. Fast loading. Reliable. The feature set is drool worthy. We love it like a member of the family.
