Wireless

I bought this unit for both the features and the cost. This player plays virtually anything which I really like. It is a solid unti and very easy to get going and ready play pretty much right out of the box. It has firmare updates (which I haven't gotten yet) so you may have to update your player.
Now the wireless component was very dissapointing! It would recognize my wireles network but after setting all of the information for a static ip address, it still would not connect to the Internet. It could just be my router but I made sure my router was working properly and it was -so buyer be cautious.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: networking will not always work

Plug and Play!

Bought this to go with a new TV. We got the Blu Ray with wireless since we didn't have a wired connection in the bedroom. The unit is small and lightweight. It was seriously the easiest set up. Plug in and go. I love the internet connectivity and sitting there with you laptop, you can easily sign up for Netflix or any of the other internet features built in. I chose this bluray b/c of the wifi built in and it accessed the interent sites I was most interested, You Tube, Netflix, Pandora, and Picasa.
The picture was awesome. And we only had a DVD to watch. I can only imagine how the blu ray movies look.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: usb on front only accessible with the panel down

Excellent product, easy to get started and easy to use its features. The only drawback that I found was the size of the navigation buttons (up, down, left and right) are too small and too close.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: navigation bottons too small

Easiest hook up and start up of this type of equipment that I have came in contact with. The WiFi results was terrific and easy to set up and use. It is a great coupling with NETFLIX.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, reasonable cost

We have had nothing but positive happening with our new player. Loads fast, does updates if needed. Just no complaints at all. It does have open and closed remote button. but you know you still have to put the disc in for the people who have complained about other players not having it.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

We were shopping for one of these combo internet / disc players for quite a while. All of them had one thing or another which gave it a thumbs-down. With the rich feature-packed BD570, particularly the wireless connectivity for Netflix and YouTube, the decision was made for us. No messy ethernet cables strewn about the livingroom, and no complicated set-up. It was out of the box and our daughter was watching some Mary Kate and Ashley flick in minutes! This unit is our best entertainment buy in years!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

This was our first Blu-ray player. It was a Christmas gift. I was so excited about seeing the movies. LG did not disappoint. The picture was awesome, I felt like I could touch the items on the screen. I have owned LG products before and knew this brand was going to be great and it is. No problems at all. Would highly recommend.
Pros: Performance, Quality

With volume set to maximum, sound fades in and out making dialog unintelligible. This has happened with all Blue Ray DVD discs received from netflix. Product is difficult to use and troubleshooting guide is ambiguous.
Cons: Difficult to use, Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
