After a lot of thought into which blu-ray player to buy for myself, I decided on the BD570. All of the features work wonderfully, however I do wish the instructions were a little more detail oriented as to installing / using the HomeLink feature. The product functions with perfection. It plays all of my DVD's in better detail than a normal DVD player would and blu-ray discs have the crystal clear picture that you would come to expect. I am very happy that this product can connect to your home network on either a wired or wireless connection. I find myself often moving the unit between rooms of the house depending on the occasion and it helps that I don't have to change connection settings at all.
A small note on the cosmetics of it. If you wish to use the BD-Live content, you need to buy a flash drive and plug it into the front of the unit. I regularly use these features so I don't remove the flash drive ever. The issue that arises is that the usb port is on the front of the unit and when a flash stick is plugged in, the front cover doesn't fully close. But that's a small price to pay for everything else working perfectly. Overall I give 4 stars to this product. The only reason I'm taking away one star is because of the USB port location. Otherwise it's a perfect product that I recommend to anyone.
For future product updates, I would suggest the ability to choose apps to include in netcast. Currently there are a few that I wouldn't even think of using, but perhaps a Facebook or LocalNews app would be more useful.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: unit design

Worth It

Great options on this player. Loved NetFlix from the start, it really makes it worthwhile. Kids like Utube and pandoras box. BluRay plays all our disks including those we burned ourselves on our Toshiba burner. We wanted the wireless but have been disappointed with it. Worked well for first 2 weeks then slowed down. LG made upgrades to their system but it has never been the same since. We are planning to install a wire since it works great when I move it into the computer room and use the wired connection. Picture is great even wirelessly. Seems to take tons of bandwidth. Needs to work with 5GHz band so that I can isolate it on my dual band wireless N router.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings
Cons: wireless

Bought this BluRay Player from a retail store off the web and was a bit apprehensive about possible problems and what if I had to return. Happily I can say that the most difficult part was connecting to netflix which did take a few minutes to try the various number codes, etc. but since this was new to me, I'm sure others would have no problems. That took me about 15 minutes but after that, clear sailing and no problems or regrets. The features are great and most importantly the picture quality of blurays and even dvds are terrrific.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

I am really impressed with this device. I ultimately switched from wireless to wired because I was getting video artifacts - I think this is due to my running two access points in WDS mode. Once I went wired Ethernet, I haven't had any issues streaming Netflix or other content.
My only complaint is the noisy disc seeking. It's really only on device boot, or when the DVD/BluRay is loading different content, but it is distracting and adds to negative reviews when friends hear it. I haven't had any issues playing discs though. Make the unit silent and this would be 100% positive review.
Otherwise, I am very happy with this device, and still highly recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings
Cons: noisy disc reader

Brought this player home to replace my standard DVD player. Plugged in the HDMI cable and power cable and it was ready to go. That simple. The main menu led me to the wireless setup and the process was straightforward.
