This is my first blu-ray player and I couldnt be happier. Very easy setup, and very crisp picture. The upscaling is so good there is no reason to spend extra money on blu-ray discs. Playing blue-ray discs is however fantastic. I have had no issues and would recomend this player unconditionally. Pair this with a LG tv and you will have it all. Wi-Fi is great and so is net-cast.

I purchased this as part of a combo with the LE5400 tv. DVD play back is great. Only have tried a few blue ray titles but all have played great. Make sure to have a high quality HDMI cable.

I love this BluRay player! Netcast is amazing and I use it all the time. Don't have anything negative to say about the unit! The WiFi works great with my home network. Get yours soon. =)

Better Than Expected

Out of the box we connected the HDMI cable to the TV and the Audio cable to the AV and turned things on. Wireless connection setting was a snap, no firewall problems to conquer or anything unexpected. All was most intuitive and worked. Then we tried playing a DVD, got a fantastic picture and surround sound. Turned the unit off. When we turned it back on software upgrades were found, downloaded and installed effortlessly - all wireless.
Netflix streaming connection is what we expected to be shakey since we were still testing the wireless connection. However, there was not one single delay in sound or picture for the entire 90 minute movie. This unit performs beautifully without a wired connection to our not so new router.
Easy, intuitive, compact, with fantastic wireless reception makes this unit better than expected.

Great Product...small firmware update needed

It is a great product. Easy to setup. Easy to use.
My only complaint is regarding it's ability to play DVD's that I have backed-up on my home network. When playing the VOB files, there is a 2+ second pause when it advances to the next file. What is strange is out of the box it played the files fine. However, once I installed the latest firmware, it started pausing between files.
Other than that, it is great!

Outstanding Ease of Use

This was unbelievably easy to install and connect to my WiFi! Never have had anything go so well. Uncomplicated, easy to understand, and we are watching movies flawlessly. I have a DSL connection, and wasn't sure it would be fast enough, but it sure is! No halting, no waiting!

I love it. We hooked it up and it worked. The wireless was very simple to hook up. I love all the features. I think I like the Netcast the best, and then Home Link. We listen to Pandora a lot. Fun Product!!!!!
