I've had this printer for 1 week and it has already given me problems. When I try to use the copy feature it hangs. I have yet to be successful with making copies. I'm afraid of what will happen if I try to scan. When it is printing it makes very loud noises; worse than the old one I replaced. This is my office printer so it is very disturbing to others. Prior to ordering, I contacted HP to inquire about the number of paper trays. I was told that there were two trays; 1 for paper going in and 1 for documents coming out ... NOT true!! There is NO tray for documents coming out, which is very inconvenient. If I still had the packaging I would send this back. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this product and would not recommend it.

1 -- makes terrible noises upon printing
2-- frequently hangs up and shows "printing" in the window but is simply stalled -- must reboot by uplugging power cable, pressing #6 and then re inserting power cable
3 -- live conversation with your rep was of little help

A good little printer. Had trouble connecting it to my 64 bit computer when I called HP and talked to India. they tried at least twice but did not succeed. I fininally found the necessary software online.
That was terrific and easy. I've had Hp Officejet printers for at least 10 years.

Not as good as the 6000

Don't like the sleep mode; paper feed isn't good, cuts the top off sometimes, grabs two pieces of paper often too. Only bought it 'cause I thought it was the same as the 6000. It isn't!
