worst printer driving me crazy

the printer does not tell my computer it is low on ink. it just prints faint and misses lines a real nuisance when you have told it to print 20 pages you look and find loads of wasted paper
I find it difficult to purchase the ink cartridges only argos in my area stock them and only one at a time have to wait weeks for more to come into store. At time of writting this i am now using my daughters old printer because I have had no ink for weeks.
I use HP cartridges and they only print about 100 pages if i'm lucky .
If I wanted to clean the print head how would i do this.
I'm ready to take it back to the shop

Wont buy better than this

Excellent wireless printer. Prints very crisp both in black & white & colour. Have printed copies of photos from it and they are very good quality. I am not a technical wizard but it is very easy to use !

HP4500 is an excellent product as it is easy to set up and very straight forward to use, the colour printing is great and the on line HP solution centre is easy to use, very pleased with my purchase

Purchased recently for SOHO use. The price was very attractive and recommended by regular supplier. Set up was very easy and has been providing good service. Good value aio. I am told the consumablesa are also economical.
One hitch is from standby mode to activate you have to reestablish wifi connection.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I did bought this printer 6 months ago it is best value for money it works fine and i am happy with it. Only one thing in this model it is not compatiable for i phone air printing which i just realise last month when got my i phone.d
