One of the best printers I have had, though mind you, I always buy HP printers are they are strong, this hp4500 is very easy to set up, I use it wireless and its very easy to set uo, the quality is second to none, even the fast print is good quality print. I know my next printer is going to be another HP . Alexander

This is good printer and I am very happy with it apart from one really annoying thing. My windows 7 laptop constantly loses connectivity to the printer. The printer is connected on a network but every other week I need to put the disk into the machine and reload the software.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Without doubt the best printer I have had.
So simple to use all the features, scanning used to be tricky getting other printers to do what you wanted but this is so easy. Would buy again and again.

I am very pleased with this printer but just one problem!!
It has a habit of passing out blank sheets before printing the message, I went to your help page and was adviised to disconnect the plugs and reconnect. Keep trying this but after a while it does the same again... Therefore I get very frustrated.

Faxing Trouble

Dear Sir or Madam,
To me this is a good machine. The only challenge I have is with faxing, it cannot send out or receive faxes. I am using one telephone line for calls and internet. I am now trying to use it for faxing through my HP4500 and unfortunately it is not working. It just rings and as it is about to send, it gives an error message.

Print quality is good when it works. Frequently "out of paper" when plenty is present.
Too often I get a blank sheet in the middle of a run.
Wireless feature is OK.

BUT INK IS TO EXPENSIVE FOR THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY GET INSIDE TO CARTRIDGE THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY THE MANFACTURER.
