Printer fine but...

This is a very good printer and does all it should. It is fast and easy to use. But.. the manual that comes with it falls far short of previous HP manuals such as I received with my previous Deskjet 6100. It took me a while to discover that i could print multiple copies when photocopying, as well as enlarging reducing and changing the brightness. A full manual is surely not too much to ask.
Apart from this I am well satisfied with the printer.

Great product. It is very reliable. I have bought it several months ago for a small business and it work perfectly. I love the wireless feature a lot. It makes it very convenient to print documents.

The 1st HP 4500 we had lasted 2 weeks before the scanner packed in. The replacement will not download all the software. deleted old software and intalled new software 3 times. If you have more than 10 sheets of paper in the feeder it tells you its out of paper. So no good for multi printing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is an excellent printer, very quick with no software issues.
It has the facility to print in draft which is a benefit to me, however if HP could make the cartriges bigger like the old 845c it would be even more economical to use. I have never been disappointed with HP printers.

Bought one for the office and one for home. Machine wants to install software for both machines and for lead connection and wireless and for the fax, so I ended up with a pile of printers on the list,not knowing what to pick when I want to print. Uninstalled and tried again,again too many choices on printer list and the wireless is not working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Product

Neat and compact. Has many features all in one place - Fax/Printer/Photocopier - Colour or Black and White just at the touch of a button. Only downfall is the tray. I paper isn't resting properly it can get pulled back into the printer and cause a Jam. Just ensure you fix you paper properly and your on your way. Would recommend to a friend.
