Replacement Product

Hi,
I am satisfied with the replaced product but the only thing that is not up to par is the sending of fax. We managed to receive a fax but when it comes to sending, the screen reads as phone off hook.

It is really frustrating since my husband wanted an urgent document to be faxed over to him and this is happening.
Any help please to solve this problem from happening in the future.

Good quality at low cost

Inexpensive to purchase, I use it mainly as a printer. I am very pleased with letter / docuement quality; photographs print well too. I do not use the fax facility but scanning is efficient too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

"Having said "yes" to recommending this product I feel I must qualify that - I am reasonably happy overall with the product but I am frustrated by the fact that I have yet not been able to use some of the special features no matter how many times I reinstall it on my computer. I am still hopeful that someone (HP hopefully) will come to my rescue. As it is I might as well just have a cheaper version of printer.
Takes a long time to get started when you press the "on" button. I have always had difficulty in getting my computer to recognise that it is a scanner - it has worked once or twice but generally I get a message that no scanner can be found. It scans and prints without using another appliance but not when you want to transfer images from another source. I have never been able to connect using the wireless facility - which is one of the reasons I chose this model. It seems to use a lot of ink - I don't print often but seem to have to change the cartridges more often than my last printer. The ink cartridges cannot be found everywhere - the supermarkets I use do not stock them (Tesco/Asda). Other than that it serves its purpose. Photo quality is reasonably good. Photocopier and Fax work well.

Excellent product but can be improved more.

I would like to state that the HP product purchased and later replace has been excellent and we are only finding difficulty in Faxing. The message is: Phone off hook. Please if there is anyone who could help in this situation.

This printer is exceptional, and I would recommend it to all my friends. It is really quick in printing and the colour is exceptional. As I do a lot of craft using my printer the colour being just right is very important.
