Best Purchase for an All In One printer

Overall my Canon does all I need and much more. A reliable machine, all in one with perfect quality, fast print and easy of use. It takes few minutes to set up and the wireless feature works perfect with no issues.
Pros: reliable, Compact Design, Easy Setup, Low Ink Consumption, Lightweight/Portable, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed, easy to use

I CALL THE PIXMA MX870 SMALL WONDER. I BOUGHT IT FOR SCANNING PURPOSES. IT IS EVERYTHING AND MORE THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. EASY TO SET UP. EASY TO USE. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. PRINT QUALITY IS EXCELLENT. ADF IS SMOOTH NO JAMMING. I AM USING IT WITH TWO COMPUTERS AND IT WORKS FLAWLESSLY. I HAVE HAD SOME OTHER BRANDS
AND NONE OF THEM EVEN CAME CLOSE TO THE 870.
AND NONE OF THEM EVEN CAME CLOSE TO THE 870.

This is an excellent product both in value and quality. Printing is crisp and clear and setting up was relatively easy. Wireless works smoothly once connection is established. The automatic shut off feature when not in use is a nice touch. If anything I found that having to answer an incoming fax manually something that should be fixed in future models.
Pros: ease of use and color quality
Cons: having to receive faxes manually

Great Home Office Use

This multi use copier has been a great addition for my office and personal use. It was easy to set up and the wireless feature works without issue. The overall copy quality is very good. It is superior in several ways compared to another major national brand.
The only negitive points, which are not big issues, would be that I'd like to have the paper tray hold more sheets, and it seems to go through the black 220 PGBK ink fairly fast. The individual ink tanks can not be refilled.
Overall, I would recommend this unit and would buy it again.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use
Cons: High Ink Consumption, small paper tray

Really like this printer

The MX870 is a complex machine with a lot of capability at a reasonable price. Set up as directed worked for me. Called tech support once and they were great!
Pros:
Has lots of "extras" that are surprisingly handy like the duplex printing, the sheet feeder for copy and fax, the printer door that opens automatically. Printing is clear and sharp. I haven't used it much for photos. So far no mechanical problems. Added two additional wireless computers to the network with no problems.
Minor cons:
It's big. Measure your space. The wireless connection occasionally fails, but that's probably my router and internet service. Slight delay before printing starts. Not a problem for me. Not sure yet about ink cost.

The printer/scanner, etc is fantastic! We lost the installation disc and I was able to download the needed software right from the site. Prints fantastic pictures, and is so easy to use. I love Canon products!!

only had the printer now two weeks, ill writ another one in a month. so far this printer is great it does everthing and more, it printe two sides with ease and the cleraty is crystal clear. was easy to set up if I can do it anyone can do it onlt problem with it is large foot print. the pictures won't run if it gets wet overall it is great.
Pros: Compact Design, Easy Setup, durable, Sharp Tones & Colors, easy to use
Cons: Large Footprint
