Went shopping and sales rep recommended this model .....said he had one and was very pleased.
Looked at other models...but kept coming back to bd550 because of all that was offered ...everyone else only had bits and pieces of this model.
When I opened box ...it was a piece of cake to set up and was working in a few minutes!!
Wow ...What a deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, can update via internet
I would recommend this to a friend!

blueray finally

I have just bought a lcd tv and with that i had to get a dvd player to get the max experience that i can get. i had to get the same brand so i got this bd550 blueray dvd player. this is my first blueray dvd player and im loving it. it has the same great easy remote feauters and great quality picture. ive seen other players but not all would meet my expectations. so im gald i chose this dvd player it was in middle of my price range and its exaclly what i needed for my maximum viewing experience.
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings, Quality, Style/Design, easy to use, one remote for both tv and dvd
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Blu ray player for money. Very easy to use. I use the player mainly for steaming video via Netflix. Setup for this was a matter of minutes. Enjoy the fact that you can browse Netflix without using a PC.

This is my first Blue Ray player. Not only is it easy to setup, but the options are many. I love the Network access. Not only can you access these widgets, but the automatic firmware updates makes sure your unit stays right up to date. A nice touch.

Easy to install and use. Had to buy the internet wireless modem to connect with my wireless hub instead of the player already having it as a feature.
Connects fine to my hub and internet features are easy to use. Would recommend to others as a lower cost unit but would buy the model that has wireless already built in the next time

This blu ray player has amazing quality for the price. It is amazing how much better it even makes your old DVDs look so much better than they used to. I would recommend this to anyone.
