EXELENT PURCHASE BLU-R PLAYER

THE QUALITY IS GOOD BUT IT COULD BE BETTER YOU CAN FEEL THE B-R CASING MOVE WHEN HOLDING ON HANDS. IT GETS TOO HOT, A COOLING FAN ON THE BACK COULD HELP IT LIVE LONGER. OTHER THAN THAT IT IS A GREAT VALUE.

This is an excellent entry level BD player as it has a lot of features for the low price. I used a CAT6 cable to connect to the network, took about 10 minutes to update a new firmware and everything works great so far including Netflix, Pandora. The BD disk loads much quicker than the Panasonic BD player which I returned after I purchased this LG player. The remote is very easy to use, never even used the manual as I was able to get everything to work within the first 15 minutes.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

This is my first Bluray player and now I see what the fuss is all about. Beautiful video, dvd upscaling is better than any dvd player or Xbox I have tried, crystal clear picture!!! Very easy to set up box and Netflix. Only wish would be having a different queue view. If you have a lot of movies in your queue it requires a lot of scrolling.
Great player and I love the simplink to my TV.

Outstanding Player

Got this player to compliment the new LG TV. Upgrading the firmware took just seconds, love how it syncs with the TV. So easy to use, my 2-yr-old grandson knows that all he needs to do is push the eject, place a dvd in, push the button again and the TV powers on, the com link places the TV input to proper place and within seconds he is watching his show. Picture has been great and it plays flawlessly with no pauses or skips. Only thing I would like to see is the availablity of a wireless device so I don't have to use the ethernet cord.

Cons: is not wireless

Delays when playing, long load time, I would think you shouldn't be able to hear it running...
