The milk frother is quiet, fast and easy to use. It turns skim milk into a wonderful froth to top coffee or hot chocolate. Unfortunately, it stopped working after a week or so. I was diligent in the care and cleaning of the product, per the instruction manual.

3 Froths & Then Nothing

I have been a loyal Keurig user for the past two years, having purchased three for myself and four for family members. I also was loyal to Green Mountain coffees during my 10 years living in Portland, ME and was thrilled when they came out with the Kerig line of coffeemakers.Now the problem with the Milk Frother: I purchased the Keurig Milk Frother on Oct 18 and used it 3 times; on Nov. 1, it no longer worked.[...] I am not happy and if the Milk Frother only lasts 3 times, I must ask if it's worth the [$] price tag ... the local coffee shop just might be cheaper and less frustrating.

This frother is AMAZING! I have owned several frothers in the past, all price ranges. This is by far the best one I have ever seen. I have had mine less than a month. No problems whatsoever with it. This little machine is not difficult to clean. I do not understand the reviews regarding cleaning. Just gently and carefully clean both pieces immediately after using without submerging in water. That is not difficult. Only froth the amount of milk or cream that you need and wash the pieces right away. Use a very tiny drop of mild soap and keep the electrical parts dry. Don't let the frother sit there turned on for a long period of time, just use what you need. I filled to the max line one morning (that makes a LOT of froth), so I put the extra froth/half n half in the refrigerator and reheated it later in the afternoon! Worked perfectly. A wonderful tip: pour into the milk or cream 1/2 CAPful of A flavored syrup such as french vanilla or white chocolate (the kind you see them using in coffee houses); do this before you turn on the heat/frothing and when finished you have yummy flavored cream.... it's' DIVINE! I hope this piece of equipment lasts a long time, but if it does not, I will return it for a new one or just buy another one. I love it that much. I love Keurig products!! I finally have the brewer and frother that make my love of coffee and tea even stronger! I use the extra bold and smallest cup setting and a small amount of froth/steamed milk for the perfect espresso. I cannot say enough about this company. Love em!

Buy K-Cups, Not This

I purchased this item in July 2011 and have had problems with it ever since. From the first use, it was extremely noisy, making a grinding sound during use that sounded like either very dry gears or internal machinery not working properly or damaged. I did call CS, explained the problem, and they stated they would have someone from Tech Support call me back. I never received the call and the next time I called CS, my call was dropped before being transferred. The bottom line is this item was damaged before I even used it. After trying it out, I found it to be too fussy to bother with and the noise kept bothering me. Spend this money on K-cups instead.
Pros: Attractive design
Cons: Flimsy Construction, Difficult To Clean

Great for short time

Bought this twice thinking I must have done something wrong with the first one. The second one only lasted a couple of months and I only use it on the weekends. Wow spent too much money on a [*] product. Got the Single coffe machine for christmas...Hope it lasts longer...

This is a wonderful product! No need for a separate cappuccino or espresso machine. With the Keurig coffee maker and the frother you can brew anything! And it is fun and easy to use!!

I love the foam - I buy cappuccino extra dry so I can have lots of foam and this product make great foam. I think the first time I used it I used too much milk.. it will take a little time to adjust to the amount needed. I just got it so need to practice with it. I did think it a bit pricy but then the K-Cups are pricy too!
Pros: Well Insulated, Easy to clean, Attractive design, Pours Cleanly, Easy to fill
Cons: Need time to work with it

Milk not hot enough

I've used this product four times and the frother is already starting to make a squealing noise. I have been careful not to get any water in the mechanical part, but it is clear that these frothers are poorly constructed. The milk is barely hot enough to have a latte. You need to drink it real fast or you will end up with a cold latte. Extremely overpriced for this product.
Pros: Pours Cleanly, Easy to fill, Easy to operate
Cons: Froth not hot enough, Flimsy Construction
