Nice unit ... maybe?

At the time of the purchase, we felt we made a good choice. For the past 8 months we've been really happy with how quiet it is and the amount of room it offers. Now, we've received an error code "LE" which indicates a motor problem. Hopefully service will be good but ...
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings
Cons: unsure of reliability

My old dishwash I could hear from two rooms away. I can only hear this one if I am standing next to it and I listen really hard. The stainless inside I love and it cleans really well. I also love all of the options of wash cycles. Great buy!

This item is incredibly quiet, efficient and effective. We recently remodeled our entire kitchen with LG double wall ovens; counter depth four-door french refrigerator and this dishwasher, and all are fantastic.

Incredibly Quiet

I can finally run the dishwasher at night because it is so whisper quiet my husband no longer wakes up during any cycle.
The dishes come out sparkling clean no matter what cycle combination I have chosen - and I have chosen each one so far. We can empty our cupboards of dishes/glasses since the racks hold so much. We don't have to run the dishwasher as often, saving us money from water, electricity and cleaning agent usage. The placement of dishes is a little different so we did use the information booklet to maximize positioning and cleaning ability. I also like the hidden controls...the last dishwasher got discolored where we set the controls and the discoloration was always visible. We have not had any problem with spotting on the stainless...but we use the handle to open and close the door since others commented on the difficulty of cleaning. I would highly recommend this dishwasher to everyone.

QUIET

We just relpaced our old dishwaher with this LG and we can't believe how quiet it is. There is plenty of room for lots of dishes and we love the hidden controls. We think our old dishwaher broke because our 3 year old grandson loves to push buttons. He doesn't even know where they are now.

Terribly disappointing

This is abeautiful looking dishwasher and was purchased to match the refrigerator. Unfortunately, the DW was backordered from November until mid-January. We have been running it about one month and it does not clean very well at all. The top rack is cleaner than the bottom rack. I called LG, they sent out a service tech. and he replaced the motor and said they had issues with this model. We washed the next load and the dishes came out dirtier than when they went in. Talk about frustrating. I just want another model that works well. LG says I must continue to have their service tech come out again. Maybe I'm the only one that got a lemon, but I would not recommend this model to anyone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
