Extremely Satisfied

After having the pleasure of owning an LG Refrigerator, Washer and Dryer, myself and my wife naturally wanted to upgrade our existing Dishwasher with an LG brand. However, before we went with it, we researched the various models offered by LG in this product line and settled to get the LDF7932ST. We use our dishwasher almost every other day and are extremely satisfied with its performance. In fact my wife loves to call it 'my LG washer' everytime she uses it. It is the best value for money. There are, however, two things I would like LG to address in their future models and that is the finger prints and hand marks left on the appliance while loading and unloading (since these marks don't go away with plain wiping) and would like the racks to be more load friendly since it takes a little while to get used to loading the dishwasher.

Good Dishwasher

We have recently replaced our old dishwasher with LG LDF7932ST. The dishwasher did a great job cleaning the dishes. We especially like the steam feature such that the dishes and silverware always smell fresh after the clean cycle. In addition, the washing cycle is so quiet that we never noticed the dishwasher is operating if not looking at the blue flashing LED.

Good dishwasher, but....

I agree with several of the reviewers and will echo a few of the comments. The machine is extremely quiet and has done a great job cleaning. It does take a long time to complete a cycle and I miss the "Clean" message that stayed on my old dishwasher until we had opened the door for a minute. My disappointment is that I can't load as much as I thought I'd be able to do. If I were loading only plates of various sizes, it would be great. But I'm limited when I mix plates, bowls, glasses and such. I also find that I have a problem loading some of my flatware, as the handles are too large. I plan to cut some of the dividers out of one of the baskets to open up more room.

Almost Soundless....

We purchased this unit to complete the kitchen redo and wanted a quiet machine......about the only sound you hear is the chime at the end. Seems to take a little longer than our older machine, but uses less water and heat and still gets the dishes very clean. Need to get used to the rack arrangement but the capacity is excellent.

Ultra Quiet and Effective

I replaced a very old, very loud, very lousy dishwasher with this model. It is extremely quiet. If I'm not specifically listening for it I have no idea it's running. I've put dishes with dried sauces and cheeses into it facing the steam burst and had them come out spotless. It holds a ton of dishes, and the adjustable top rack is fantastic. Love it!

This dishwasher has restored many of our dishes and glassware to "like new" condition with just one washing. We are using the same detergent as we did with the older Kitchenaid dishwasher, so it must be the dishwasher. The noise level in our kitchen has dropped to the point that the loudest part of the cycle is the running water.
Since there are just two of us in this home, the interior space has allowed us to go to one wash a week and it is still not really full.
Overall, even though it is a little pricey, it is well worth the extra money.

One comment, the instructions tell me to look on the right side of my AIR CONDITIONER for the serial number????

I am very pleased with this dishwasher, Love the look with the buttons on top and the two led lights blue showing use and the green led when done but feel it should stay lit til you open the door which is my only complaint.( at first thought we got a defective one.....)That way you know they are clean ...... The dishes come out cleaner than any dishwasher we have ever owned. It is very quiet , sounds like a waterfall very soothing when the water enters the machine , I also like how when you press the buttons it plays music ,my husband laughs saying its just a chime , but music to my ears and my dishes get clean .. :) oh yeah one other minor complaint the silverware baskets need to have a tad larger openings to work .....the stems of my silverware don't all fit in the holes provided ....but great idea to keep them seperate and clean .....the few that fit works nice the others end up bunched in the opening in the middle basket....a friend told me she gave up on her silverware basket and took off the lids ...: ( I would just like a little larger holes so mine would fit ....spotless dishes, clean sleek design,music to your ears ....over all...... I'd pick it again ...!!!..:)

I'd just finished remodeling the kitchen in my former home and loved this dishwasher so much that when I moved and had to remodel again I had to have this dishwasher again. My kitchen is open to my great room with high ceilings and stone floors this dishwasher is so quiet you don't hear it running...perfect for washing dishes and watching TV.
Cleans beautifully, looks great! The LG Tech who installed the first dishwasher gave me two really valuable hints: use less detergent (don't fill both cups) and always keep the JetDry filled as it uses the JetDry to dry saving energy and guaranteeing spotless cleaning. Given that it's silent, energy efficient and has huge capacity, I don't mind the 2HR scrub cycle. Only cons are silverware basket (one reviewer suggested removing some of the screens that cover the silverware baskets) and the bottom rack doesn't always slide as easily as it could. Actually I really had to search for these minor cons I'm pleased and highly recommend this dishwasher.
