Not so happy

We were excited to get the unit until we starting using it. The dishes come out dirty regardless of the cycles we use. The factory trained repair technition has been here three times and replaced a lot of parts. Now we are waiting for LG to set up a time to replace the unit. We look forward to better news and a better review on the new unit.

A year later...

We bought this product enticed by its water saving feature. However, a year later, the metal ends of the dish racks fell off and they are now horribly corroded. It seems that some ends were not properly treated, but after a bit more than a year of use, the treated ends are slowly falling apart as well, and will eventually add to the corrosion feast. Since it is a water-saving dishwasher, the cleaning ability isn't as great, and now we pre-clean items before washing them in the machine! The water we save with the machine is used washing them by hand! We like the design, stainless steel look, and it is definitely quiet. But the lack of appropriate treatment for the metal racks is a disappointment. Given this product has been discontinued, this review may be useless. For those of you who have one and wonder if their machine was defective... NO, you are not crazy!

Very Happy with the Quiet Process

My family really enjoys the quietness of this dishwasher. The dishes come out very clean but we also prewash. The drinking glasses had water marks on the bottom of 2 out of 2 glasses. The coffee cups were very clean and everything drys very nicely. I hope the waterspot on the glasses was a fluke but I will be monitoring the situation.

Very Impressive, Very Quiet

We've been upgrading our kitchen appliances for over a year now and have found LG products performing well. So this Dishwasher purchase was an easy decision. Very happy with the way it works, so quiet, clean and smelling fresh everytime.
We love it.

When we went shopping for a new dishwasher, I had a list of features I wanted and my husband had a price. The saleslady directed us to this dishwasher (which was on sale) and we were sold! It has all the features I wanted and then some, and the sale price fit into our budget. I did all the insallation myself, and it was very easy and straightforward. The first time we ran the dishwasher, my husband and I stood in the kitchen asking each other, "Is it even on?" This thing is so quiet, you can't even hear it!!! My husband says he is amazed because "Everything fits in one load!" The adjustable racks are very handy and allow a variety of items to be washed simultaneously (although there is a learning curve to adjusting them correctly). And everything comes out clean! This is the first LG product we have purchased, and we will definitely consider LG for any future appliance/electronic purchases.

Great Dishwasher

I love the feature to raise the top rack if needed, though we had a problem where the latch wouldn't consistently hold. LG was great in honoring the warranty and quickly shipped us out a replacement that we haven't had problems with. The dishes get very clean, though we haven't found them to get very dry. It's very quiet, which is great. It holds a LOT of dishes-- much more than our previous dishwasher. The silverware holder is nice, but one of our sets of silverware has handles that are too big too fit in the little slots which is a pain. I wish there was one section that didn't have the slots. All in all, a great dishwasher! We've been very happy with it!

Excellent Dishwasher

We replaced an aging dishwasher that sounded like it was going to take off when we used it. This dishwasher runs very quiet, cleans our dishes, pots, pans, wine glasses, and dries the plastic ones effectively. The amount of detergent is about half of what our last one used. It was easy to install and looks beautiful inside and out. It does everything we ask of it. A great product.

Satisfied new owner of LG washer/dryer/refrigerator. Dishwasher meets all expectations of excellence from LG brand. It's so quiet you have to put your ear close to hear if it's operating. I like all the adjustable features. Dishes come out sparkling clean.
