Operation was smooth & intuitive with one exception. I have problems with entering a MISC Income for a health program reimbursement. It is not at all obvious, nor intuitive.!! This entry is simply a benefit thru my employers retirement program. It is a tuition refund for the classes attended, and paid for by me.

free state

in previous years, there has been no "file by X date" in order to get your state filed free. most people, including myself and my son, aren't able to put all filing information together by the middle of February. Therefore THAT benefit isn't available.
I will be looking for other tax software next year. The free state filing was one feature that tipped me toward Turbo Tax. Since that feature is now gone, I'll be looking elsewhere next year. I've used Turbo Tax for several years. Most likely, no more.,

Very happy with the covered topics. I only had issues with a couple of boxes that I checked asking about pension plan distributions - lump sums or monthly. May have been something I did. Program seems to get better every year. Process was smooth. I love Its Deductible. Easy to use and import, E filing was a breeze, and I liked the ability to store my credit card info for next year.
What's great about it: Snapshots by topic
What's not so great: In the past printing but better this year

Hard to do refund

I think I had a much harder time this year than previous years. Very difficult to find how to file for the different 1099.

I worked for many years in a premium tax office. TurboTax is a good software and I highly recommend it.
What's great about it: Easy to use and to go back. I have used TurboTax for many years.

Best Yet!!

I've used Turbo Tax for several years now. From the first year, I haven't been able to offer any suggestions for improvement. I wish all computer programs were this easy to install and operate. Thank you for your fine product.
What's great about it: Sep-by-step detailed instructions.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Please keep doing what you do - and keep us safe.
What's great about it: Love the step by step and ability to check and re-check numbers.
What's not so great: Was somewhat nervous using Turbo this year, based on the issues in the media the last couple of months.
