Super Easy!

Very easy to load and to use. Best and easiest year ever for me. We will see when I try to do my parents taxes with their business entries with the Deluxe software this year.
What's great about it: Easiest year ever with Turbotax! Like the option of guided walk through or do it yourself entry.
What's not so great: Need to be consistent from product year to next product year. Offer same covered items.

Best Tax Software

I used another software product when I started to do my own taxes. My friend's husband*he's a CPA) recommended TurboTax. I started to use it and was very impressed with its ease of use and how it walks you thru each section and has help buttons you can click on for further explanations of items you are not familiar with. This product improves every year and I would never consider any other product to prepare my taxes.
What's great about it: Extremely easy to use
What's not so great: none

2014 taxes

at the end of the process, I went to pay my state taxes, but software said that I wasn't connected to the internet, but I was. Had to call phone number to get a transaction # from representative. After that all was well
What's great about it: importing w-2's on-line
What's not so great: finishing up to pay state taxes.

Easy for the whole family

Although my returns are pretty straightforward, I still have issues with some of the instructions. Fortunately, Turbo Tax has wonderful support, both professional and from other users. I have used Turbo Tax for at least 10 years.
What's great about it: Detailed questions
What's not so great: I'm still not an acccountant

I have used TurboTax for years and will continue to do so.
What's great about it: Get asked all the right questions to complete my taxes.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

After receiving update and completing taxes, it was as easy as usual.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything to make sure you don't miss a deduction
What's not so great: waiting for update to changes made at start of tax season.

In general, I am very pleased with Turbo-Tax; I've been using it for years, and every year new things are done ot make it more intuitive and user friendly.
